Call for papers: 4th International Conference on Happiness and Well-being
ICHW2026 invites researchers, practitioners, scholars, and graduate students to submit proposals for presentation. As an international conference that bridges happiness studies, positive psychology, and well-being research, the conference welcomes contributions from a wide range of disciplines and professional backgrounds.
Our goal is to create a boutique, highly interactive academic environment where evidence-based insights, applied models, and diverse perspectives come together.

Types of Submissions and Evaluation Criteria:
ICHW2026 accepts the following types of submissions and they will be evaluated as follows:
- Academic submissions – empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, and methodological innovations in positive psychology and well-being science:
1. Currency, importance, and relevance to the conference themes
2. Clearly states purpose and outcome
3. Clearly states design methodology and findings* (applicable for complete research papers)
4. Originality and innovation
5. Clarity of abstract as indicator of presentation quality
- Professional and personal development – practitioner-led insights, applied programs, case studies, and community interventions:
1. Relevance to conference themes
2. Clearly states purpose and outcome
3. Idea flow as and indicator of presentation quality
4. Creative and inspirational
5. Contains applicable and beneficial items - NGO, Government, Non-Profit – implementation projects, societal well-being initiatives, and cross-sector research that address happiness and quality of life:
1. Relevance to conference themes
2. Clearly states purpose and outcome
3. Idea flow as an indicator of presentation quality
4. Clearly stated implementation
5. Societal impact
Submission Guidelines:
- Deadline: January 25, 2026 (rolling admissions until space is filled)
- Application: Submit proposals along with the application form
- Review Process: Peer-reviewed based on the criteria above and the applicant's background to ensure a dynamic and diverse learning environment
- Admission Decisions: Made within 7 days of application submission

The ICHW2026 accepts proposals on various topics related to happiness and well-being on an individual and societal level, as well as well-being in education and at workplace. Some of ideas for possible research topics can be found below:

The following presentation formats will be possible at the conference:
- Oral presentation: Deliver your presentation live and in person to an engaged audience.
- Poster presentation: Display your poster in the conference hall or on the virtual platform (for remote participants), allowing for questions and interactive discussions.
- Video presentation: Share a pre-recorded video presentation, accessible on the virtual conference platform for viewing and discussions.

Tomorrow People Organization is a member of CrossRef. Published paper will be assigned individual DOI and will be indexed in CrossRef citation database as well Google Scholar and ICHW digital library.

Papers presented at the conference will be published in the official ISBN conference proceedings publication if submitted by the deadline and in the requested format.
In order to have your paper published in the official conference proceedings, your submission should have been previously approved by the committee and registration arrangements completed.
Paper publication is optional. Authors who have completed registration arrangements and wish their paper to be published in the official conference proceedings publication must submit their paper and/or abstract by February 10th 2026. Otherwise, only the abstract will be published if it meets formatting requirements.

Submissions received after this date or/and in a format different than specified will NOT be published. We strongly recommend early submissions to allow enough time for a review and feed back from the reviewing board.
